SBRC February 2022 Luncheon

Invites You to the SBRC February Luncheon Meeting with:

Christopher Arend

President of the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees and retired Attorney

Topic: Critical Race Theory and California Schools

The Wall Street Journal in 2019 wrote in an opinion column “California wants to teach your kids that capitalism is racist.” California’s Ed. Dept. issued an Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum Guide that describes Capitalism as a “form of power and oppression.” Teachers are encouraged to cite biographies of “potentially significant figures” such as Angela Davis and Bobby Seale. Just what is CRT and why is it part of California curriculum in K-12? Come and hear Chris Arend describe his success in Paso Robles to ban CRT from Paso Robles Schools.
